Maybe a treasure hunter could buy the landfill as an investment and start a systematic search. $800,000,000 seems like a worthwhile venture.

And once you find it will the data be intact?

Maybe he can figure out a way to claim it as a tax loss and never pay taxes again. So it’s not a complete loss?
