Bluesky does have the advantage that it's always mentioned in articles about twitter alts so more likely to be given chance by people with different interests. Someone needs to contact nostr CEO to up the marketing budget!

I know about multiple people that have tried Nostr and gave up because they only saw Bs and Zs. It's weird because we don't have only that type of content in Nostr, but that's what everybody sees all the time.
One thing that I am noticing is that many of the current Nostr apps are offering recommended follower lists of top well known people here. Many of them are very busy people and for whatever reason just don’t have the time to respond to most people. So newbies are being recommended to follow people that are probably not going to ever reply to something of theirs. New people will get disheartened and leave. Wouldn’t it be better to use some method to determine who are the people that are very active and responds often and have those people be part of the recommended follower lists? That data is literally able to be pulled from Nostr. There are some amazing people that I see posting here nearly every time I open the app. Focus on them should be bigger.
