let me tell you this directly:
number of followers in nostr is TECHNICALLY INACCURATE and probably will never be, because all it does is fetching EVERYONE'S following list and if it has you inside, then it was counted as your follower.
well it almost as shit as mastodon and friends. my brain is too little for this, at least follower doesnt really matter for enjoying life on decentralized social, if i want to be famous i'll just use my X

i had 600 ish followers that is either real or mostly bots.
i couldn't really tell the accurate number in it,
but what i know is that people apparently know me for a long time here.

well my plan just be famous on X, and convert 1-5% to my Nostr, and ill get tens of thousands
it will be a hard journey if popularity is the goal of you being here. the two platforms apparently share distinct differences on how they technically works both on the protocol and the social itself.
X, unlike how it was back in the day is mostly on chasing fame or popularity so you could be "known", the same as many other platforms nowadays (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, you name it).
Nostr in the other hand is more towards to having your voices being heard, So people can read what you are writing and other things. Fediverse fundamentally works nearly the same except it's a mix between the two platforms.
ill be popular and controversial, my animation is unlike any others around. its not just entertainment. its slice of life animation that will farm a lot of hate by telling the truth... thats is all i can say
so ill be famous on mainstream social media, and have loyal followers on whatever i exist

Idk if there's some defaults you can set on jumble or primal but it looks like you don't have any inbox/outbox/DM nodes set up. That is possibly why you're not seeing notifications properly
i don't know, Jumble just doesnt have DM, Primal DM sometimes works and not... Amethyst DM works very well
i just stick with Amethyst for DM, also i dont really plan to use Nostr for DM, its private enough, but not enough... just use Session or something

I think if you add some relays to your profile, things might work more like how you expect
