Unfortunately I am rigging them. I disagree with many aspects of this post. Having kids is ones choice, whether one chooses to have them or not has nothing to do with right or wrong decisions being made.
Why did you decide to not have kids?
My sister has 3 boys. Her husband died young from heroin overdose and left them fatherless. My brother has two kids, he is sober now. I am present and being the best uncle and apart of their lives that I can. I never wanted children. I was a terrible kid. I honestly didn’t want to deal with a kid, raise them, never once was inticing to me 🤷♂️
I remind myself that I am the result of continuous chain of reproduction spanning billions of years. If I can’t have children that means that I’m an evolutionary dead end… that doesn’t mean you should get down on yourself, celebrate, leave a mark in history, go out with a bang because you made it this far :)
The best decision of my life was having a kid. Wish I had a bunch more and started earlier.
