What would be the best way to get from a bep-20 token on bsc to onchain Bitcoin?

Probably swap to BNB and use thorswap to your BTC address. Thorchain might support other tokens on BSC, not sure.

Yes, but not from BSC. I think with ren basically being dead it is the best bet aside from just doing it on a CEX.
