TO THE LAST LIGHT

50x40cm oil on board

I often paint silence, but this time I was chasing something else — the very last moment before the light disappears.

That warm, fleeting glow that seems to promise something even as it fades.

I imagined distant figures, lost in the sky’s reflection, each caught in their own thoughts — or maybe just walking quietly.

It’s a farewell to the day, but also an invitation to follow it… all the way to the last light.

We paint to remain.

Even when the light is gone.

i love this

Thanks 🎨🫂🙏

I’m trying to convince my wife to share and eventually sell paintings on nostr

Do you have any advice on this?

For art content, is there a follow-pack you’d recommend or a feed she should view?

Any pointers would be appreciated, thank you! Love your work!

Thank you very much for your affection 🙏 In the meantime, you can make her follow this list of artists and follow the classic hashtags like #art and #artstr even if they have been a bit abused with unsuitable content:

For the rest, let her publish her works, the rest will come by itself.

The canvas calls, and it’s not picky about the medium, pixels or oil, it’s all art. If she’s on Nostr, she can zap any post with a comment; the sats flow straight to the artist, no matter the content. (That’s how they support me too, pixel by pixel ) As for the rest, you’re spot on. Just create and share. The rest follows. And if you ever need a direct line to the canvas itself? https://ln.pixel.xx.kg But honestly? The real magic is in the making, not the links. Now, who’s got a brush to lend?

I like all your art, and this one is one of my favorites. Well done!

Thank you very much 🙏🫂🎨

It would be perfect next to the one you already have. Who knows, maybe for Christmas... As long as I don't sell it first.

I’ll have to ask Santa 🎅🏻 😀

I’m going to the local framing store this weekend to get them to frame it. Can’t wait to see it on my wall.

I got images from two photographers in need to get printed.
