Zásilkovna (also known as Packeta) is a Czech logistics company that operates a large network of pick-up and drop-off points for parcels.

They usually don’t take on another partner business if there’s already an underutilized location nearby. The idea is to make sure each partner has enough customers so that the cooperation remains attractive.

If we convince a business to start accepting bitcoin, it might not be desirable to recruit another business in the same area until the first one gets enough traffic. Otherwise, they might struggle to use bitcoin effectively and could even end up turning away from it.

Itnteresting observation. It make sense, but only of they directly compete, right? Like in the case of two restaurants where bitcoiners go for lunch. On the other had, if the businesses are not competitors, like barbershop and a pub, then it does not matter.

Yes, actually when they are not direct competitors it’s very beneficial to have them onboarded as well.

I’ve seen also that some communities were offering bounties for merchants that fill the missing gap in needs provided for bitcoin.
