Unless what they’re noting is of particular interest to me, I eventually unfollow those npubs once I notice the pattern.

My other pet peeve (and there is overlap with the group you’re describing) are the people who simply cross post everything they post on X over to Nostr but aren’t really that active or plugged in on Nostr. It comes off as disingenuous and attention seeking.
