Guys aware of the kill switches getting installed in new vehicles in 2026?

Shit is about to get really draconian. This is how they’ll enforce 15 minute cities, social credit scores and cancel culture

For example I say FUCK SLEPPY JOE and boom no more car and no more money via CBDCs

How do we push back? Not sure tbh buy used I guess

Reason with cash for clunkers was enacted too. To kill old good cars

Isn’t Toyota coming out with a plain truck? Like no advanced electronics? I’m not sure on specifics tbh though

Also, I’d bet a black market will emerge around removing this crap from your vehicle

I’m not really sure. I hope they do make a plain ol truck for the usa

I’m sure there’ll be a black market to remove the switch but at what cost? For a thing that shouldn’t be there first place 🤦‍♂️

I guess it’s time to buy up old vehicles

Cost will be dependent on the demand. As asleep some folks seem to be, I do think at least 20% of the US population (higher here in the South) would pay to get it removed.

Another big factor though is if there would be legal action if removed

Yep just like farmers can’t repair their own tractors type of situation

This is crazy clown world intensified lol

Open source engine control software

Yea! Old vehicles

Engine control firmware is simpler than you think.

No. No it is not.

Most of it is diagnostics. A timing curve and oxygen feedback is the majority of what is needed to make the car function normally.

I'm very well aware, but doing that well enough to run all the time, every time without blowing up the engine is not easy. I used to build and tune race cars for a long while. It's not simple.

Ive designed engine controls, also speaking from experience

Then it's easy for a big brain (meant as a compliment) for you.

Point is that its possible. Granted, yes you can screw up an engine if your controls arent working properly

Im gonna be hitting you up in 2030 lolol

Probably should get started now

You got a customer already

Gah y’all are such nerds I love y’all
