If society forces you to earn the same money twice —

first to obtain it and second to keep its value from rotting away — then something is very broken.

I love this analogy. I use it often to explain to people what's wrong with money. Usually you see them thinking and pondering for a minute. I hope a seed is planted and they will start thinking more about it.
