Be it Bitcoin, Nostr, or SimpleX the issue I'm facing is the same

I have no one in my home country Indonesia within my circle to use them with.

No merchant in Indonesia in Jakarta that accept BTC

None of my friend use Nostr and SimpleX

Bitcoin is kind of an exception among the 3 because I believe Bitcoin will definitely succeed, predominantly because all fiat is doomed to fail anyway.

However it might be different story with chat and social media app, especially since most people don't care about data privacy and such..

Sure I'm vibing with plebs online, but offline it can feel lonely, no one that relates with me. And convincing my friend of simplex or nostr is harder than orange pilling them. At least they can agree on the problem of fiat, but not the same story with the problem of social media.

So don’t push those people , tell them about your use case, explain , but don’t push.

Communicate with them normally via twitter and use fiat. They will remember and come to you when they will see the need for bitcoin or Nostr.
