Shiny object! Look over here.

Don’t care. I have no interest in arguing about the price of tea in China. Must less promoting human tribalism enforcing dueling sides where people aren’t engaged in problem solving, only winning for their “side”.

The planet is getting hotter and that is going to have impacts. We are going to have to deal with that and so far we haven’t come up with a engineering solution to pull more CO2 out of the atmosphere and the powers that be only solution is to emit less which is only digging the hole slower, not filling it in.

Denying the problem exists or allowing the powerful to use it to promote a agenda doesn’t solve anything.

We shouldn’t shit where we eat..

You can't change someones mind.

They have to do it themselves.

If it's a foundational belief, it's really hard to change.

It taps into our sense of belonging, psychological security and survival.

It's a fundamental cocktail.

'The willingness and ability to revise one's worldview in response to new evidence or experiences are key aspects of personal growth, intellectual development, and openness to learning.'

Thanks for trying though, but these guys won't budge.

Plus won't provide any facts or insight to change our minds.

That ends the discussion.

Agreed. One of the biggest signs of intelligence is the ability to admit you are wrong. But it is very difficult at times for your stated reasons.
