Would you find this reminder too intrusive? It would disappear after the person sent a ⚡ and would not reappear for a certain period of time depending on the size of the ⚡ (for instance, if somebody gave the USD equivalent of $5 it would go away for 30 days). If you've already sent a ⚡ of whatever size, it won't show up at all until that time period elapsed.
I don't want it to be too intrusive, but I also want to remind people that my time and the hardware required to run NostrGram aren't free.
Since this is a viewpoint question, any ⚡ sent to this note in the first 30 minutes will be distributed among the people who reply in the first 30 minutes. 🙏 for your feedback.
Normally I'm opposed (I've never donated to Wikipedia for reasons), but maybe its worth testing the waters

With that being understood, what alternative would you propose? I'm open to ideas.
There really isn’t a compromise. I’d suggest a bar like gab has for funding aims. I think this medium would do well with that.
