yes its in amethyst in amethyst channel and global, it only comes up if i activate followsers in filter.wine.relay ...i could do it if you want to log on with my pubkey?

We do not filter public channels at all so that would explain it.
You shouldn’t be seeing kind 1 spam messages though.

Anytime! We do plan on adding some basic spam filtering to our aggregator relay soon which should further help with this.
What are your recommendations on how many relays I should use? I use only payed now...
Hard to say, depends on your desired nostr experience and bandwidth limitations.
Somewhere in the 4-6 range has been working well for me (but that includes filter so the reach is much larger). I used to have more paid relays but removed many of them because they were slowing me down. Have to experiment and find a mix of performance/reach/content that works for you. It’s complicated and unsolved but it’s what nostr is all about.
I think i have similar issue in the past. You just need to disable "people" icon in filter.nostr.wine like my settings. The spam comes from public channel first and somehow also regular notes if you enable those setting.

Just in amethyst and global chat... but it's gone now. Will investigate followers and follow further. But this was not spam by followers/ follows.
