Day 2 of me being bullish on this feed design #nostrdesign

Nice β‘οΈ
I have an idea, can i use this designs? π«π
Of course sir. Lemme know if you need figma or other!
Also: I'm curious now π
Too noisy the content is losing its value, there is the dupermine effect of likes, added with this, it compounds, so in a twitter client where normies are supposed to spend a lot of time browsing through it, the net experience will be harmful
I used to think the same, but:
1. In chat apps this is not a problem and that's where I spent most of my time
2. It is not my goal to make the user spend a lot of time in here
3. The goal is filtering for high signal, both with the filter the user selects (DVM & other) and with the UI displaying more then just counts that all look the same.
Yes but not everybody is on social media to look for signal, besides this is overjustification, chatapps are in the moment and do not create a scenerio where users have to compete because they don't keep track of all the reaction data, look at the recent ethical dissonance with wavelake
YES
IS THAT DAMUS?
Nope, prototype of another client (launching beginning of March normally).
Honestly not sure if nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s would be willing to deviate that much from the current Damus/Twitter UI.
This would be much easier to implement in my new client, open to experimenting there
Your current extra clean look for Android actually was an inspiration for me going in this direction.
So thanks for that btw π .
The long tap chat interactions are very promising to me. Allows for hiding a lot of redundant buttons etc...;
I'll keep you posted if this approach proves Damus-worthy.
