What got me on NOSTR was actually a search for “decentralized social media”.

A community I’m a part of was pushing Farcaster and migrating to it from Discord for support.

I was like, “what’s Farcaster”…saw that it was (purported to be) decentralized and I wondered if there were similar social solutions.

NOSTR came up…I saw it was Bitcoin based (economy wise) and further said, “why the heck would I go to an ETH based platform if I can be on a BTC one.”

…the rest is history!
