How does that even work? Devices sold in that area cannot find it in the app store or something? Or devices currently in the state cannot find it?

I hate tiktok but this is not about tiktok at all... It's about government overreach into things they have no business in.

Instead of banning 1 specific app, why not pass privacy laws that protect all consumers better? Banning is government overreach that doesn't actually improve data privacy for anyone.
