As a teenager I had a job in a small (very small) regional airport at an aviation service. I refueled planes and manned the desk starting at 4:30 am. Pilots would come in at 5 am with a friend, say they were flying their piper cessna two states over for breakfast, would be back by late morning. What a dream.

I literally just said to my husband, "So, roadtrip?!" 🤣

I'm in this same boat. Sadly they shut down the two locations near me a few years ago. 😞
