Abolishing cash (starting with the penny for example) is precisely what the UN and WEF want.

The UN has said they have all countries on board to abolish cash by 2030, with each country replacing cash with a digital currency, any digital currency. They don't care what type of digital currency.

The only thing most countries have to do is eliminate cash because the digital swipe or tap-to-pay debit cards are digital currency already. The system is already in place.

The purchasing power of one cent used to be more than that of a present dollar. It is more trouble than it's worth.

We can resume using cash by using real cash: gold and silver coins. One tenth of an ounce of gold is comparable in size to a US dime and has several times the purchasing power of a present one hundred dollar bill. Precious metals are not heavy or junk when compared to the current coins.

Wonderful. Good to know. I guess legal tender only applies to government entities?

The good news is we can all refuse to use federal reserve fiat.
