Believe it or not, the amount of absorbable iron in a pint of Guinness is astronomical. But drinking a Guinness everyday isn’t really an option. 🤓

It’s hard to find a more absorbable form of iron than the heme iron in red meat. But if not red meat, then eggs also contain heme iron. But the non-heme iron in lentils and collards can add flavor variety.
