There is truth in that meme, in my experience. Some of the most tasteless food I ever ate was at the homes of American friends.

I'm that 1 white girl who puts Mexicans to shame. There's this local mexican restaraunt I get my burritos at and they have this hot sauce they warn people about when they ask for it and I always get it and pretty much drench my burrito in it.

The dude making my burrito asked me once "isn't that too hot? You actually like that?" And I was like "my friend, it's not hot ENOUGH." And I asked him if he ever tried it and he said yes and never again.

I absolutely LOVE spicy. Everything spicy. It's sooooo guuud!!!
