ill just say it..
the funding difficulties of nostr clients that we all use would end immediately if the client we used received 1 sat from every zap transaction. we wouldn’t even notice it, and it would foster healthy innovation, competition, and some amazing nostr clients would come out of it.
I'm pro this model, have said it from the beginning but it was not popular amongst influencers of early nostr 😁

I may not have joined if there was a pay wall, even a tiny one. People joining Nostr are very much on the fence

Well that is true. I wouldve definitely still joined if it was the same minus the like button
