Pure HODLing is like locking up a rotary phone and calling it a network.

Metcalfe’s Law: value = users connecting, not just holding.

Bitcoin wasn’t made to gather dust. No transactions, no network—just digital scarcity in a display case.

To grow, it has to flow.

It’s not a metcalfe network

Yes true 🤷‍♂️

Give me something that is worth me to pay you bitcoin for it.

If I hodl, it does not mean I dont want to spend. It means bitcoin has more value to me than the things presented to me. This is a deflationary money. Your things have to outcompete my deflationary money so I buy it. Bitcoin to be spent needs value. Totally different system.

Dont get me wrong. I also want it to be used. But instead of telling people to use it, do something yourself.

If you want change, you need to change.

I tend to agree with this statement, not many things have more value then bitcoin, what are the basic things that have more value then a bitcoin (worth selling bitcoin for)

- food

- roof over your head

- social connections

- health

What else?

We used to have such a phone long long ago lol
