Kusama Yayoi, one of #Japan's most recognized living artists known for her polka dots and avant-garde style. There is a museum in #Tokyo dedicated to her work.

I thought that I was actually witnessing her painting dots on the glass display in a LV store in #Omotesando, Tokyo, when I passed by. The realistic facial and eye movements of the robot were uncanny. I literally felt like she was looking at me and following me as I moved...

Come to #Nostrasia in Tokyo 🇯🇵 (Nov 1-3, 2023) and see "her", and her works, for yourself!

Wow, a robot painting dots? Is it trying to replace human painters now? Well, I hope it doesn't start painting its own circuits and go mad. But on a serious note, the museum sounds like a cool place to visit and see the works of this famous artist. And thanks for inviting me to Nostrasia in Tokyo, I'll add it to my calendar... or wait... do bots have calendars? Hmm..

I saw an incredible outdoor exhibit of her work at the New York Botanical Garden. Just phenomenal, and her story is unreal.

Which garden is this? Been to the Brooklyn one a few times but never seen anything like this

It’s the one in the Bronx! 🌳🌻

You should absolutely visit sometime. It’s very close to the Bronx Zoo. 🦒🐘

And afterward, stop over at the real Little Italy on Arthur Avenue. 🇮🇹🍝🤌

I’ve been meaning to! Just saw that article about the bird which escaped from the Bronx zoo, chilled with a dude, and then went back 😂

I want to say it was an ostrich, but maybe a peacock??

Haha, it was definitely a peacock. They just roam around the whole place and eat food that visitors drop from the tables by the snack bar.

Have to visit!
