How was this not taken into consideration when building the protocol? I discovered #nostr via nostr:npub1sn0wdenkukak0d9dfczzeacvhkrgz92ak56egt7vdgzn8pv2wfqqhrjdv9 … wonder how he feels about this basic lack of privacy.. look at the metadata leak in action: nostr:npub18na8n7phl8r3sz67nqh3zhdzslj24qc5ramuq9tdka4a4qhrk4pqpjnmgn .. unreal!!
It’s how the protocol and data going over relays works currently. Others are doing the same and I’m just throwing my hat in the ring to highlight the issue and educate users. I posted some other things users should be aware of over at https://ron.stoner.com/nostr_Security_and_Privacy/. Knowledge lets one operate securely and privately if they choose.
