💯 I’m not suggesting it be done, and our team would hang me even if I suggested it 🤣 But it’s not hard to imagine this being abused. Am I correct in understanding that reports from users on any client factor into this mechanism on Amethyst?

right. we can take your team out of the mix and say what if you and i secretly spent the last month building fake accounts i.e. you know who, and then used these fake accounts to report people. it's way too easy to game followers and reports. and yes, it's any report on the protocol.
Right, lots of nice friendly new accounts showing up learning how to use Nostr (wink wink). It seems so obvious that this level of debate on Nostr over is almost unbelievable.
