The TikTok hearings were the first time I genuinely felt like my country was still racist.

The fact that not a single one of those assholes knew the difference between the nationalities over there, didn’t have a clue how the internet worked, and couldn’t name a single piece of information that the CCP could possibly obtain through TikTok that wasn’t easily gotten somewhere else, just shows what a sham the whole thing is.

Rules for thee but not for me. That’s all this is. They can spy on us far more egregiously, but TikTok knowing I like the funny cat videos and thirst traps is just a step too far.
