The comparison he is making is a huge stretch to say the least.
The example he gave was utilizing an existing global monetary standard, not a crypto passion project. ETH has never functioned as a base layer for anything of real world significance. It's just a toy... and one that doesn't function particularly well.
The moral hazard incentives on ETH were always bad. Now that it's fully PoS they are much worse and SOL does everything ETH does faster and cheaper because it's more centralized. More will come to eat SOL if it ever reaches real popularity.
All this stock tokenization talk is adding unnecessary complexity to an antiquated system that just needs a FinTech upgrade, not a block chain. All buzzwords and fads, nothing more.
This guy can't be this stupid.
