Remember when Elon bought Twitter and a lot of people went into hysterics and started using Mastodon but found it too hard? I’m (pleasantly) surprised they haven’t made their way to Nostr yet.

#Nostr is too difficult for the average Twitter user.

Who are the same ones who, when they signed up for Mastodon, complained that in certain instances they couldn't do what they wanted and had to follow the rules imposed.

Who arrives on #Nostr is on average a more educated and technologically advanced person, and I don't say it presumptuously, it's just a fact.

Good points I agree. Hence why there is a lot of high quality signal on Nostr. Still, it’s much easier to use Nostr than Mastodon… or maybe I’m being too generation to normies :)

I am convinced that soon the average Twitter user will arrive too, and the level of spam will become unsustainable. But #nostr already has antibodies for that too. Let's just wait for Elon to put other limits...
