This one is more on thinking college is a prerequisite to getting ahead in life. The propaganda is strong.

There is no right time for kids, you just gotta do it.

Nope

They are not for everyone lol

Moving to somewhere where kids are affordable and business is easier to start without all the bureaucratic red tape and fees is probably the right answer.

It sounds crazy but that place does not feel like the US these days.

Will you pay for everone's moving van's and fees and gas?

To square tokio.

This mindset is exactly what creates many of the challenges we face. If one chooses to do move (or stay) they must realize the consequences that come with their choice. We must ride the idea that someone else should always be responsible for our actions.

You've obviously never had "choice" taken away from you by force or life.

Your absolutist view is infantile. Probably entitled and hyperpartisan too.

Actually quite opposite. Thanks for the assumption though.

Having to make forced decisions without what feels like a real choice has a way of changing your perspective on life.

Sorry to have hit a hot button for you.

You've never been almost beaten to death. That was not a choice.

The hospital didnt know who Inwas and didn't have my insurance and until I woke up Inwas taken care of by choice with people that had empathy.

I had insurance but before that came in you would have me die because, social programs?

May life treat you as you see it, Sir.

Sorry to hear that happened to you, and I’m glad you survived/were taken care of.

That makes the angle of your views make sense as well. 🙏 for the best for you on a go forward.

Ehhh if people in Gaza can have kids anyone can have kids. People in the west are just not prioritizing it. There will always be a million reasons not to, but that doesn’t stop people earning under $1 a day from procreating in many places

Broad strokes there DRE.

I've been pregnant 2x, and. Ot almost killed me.

I cant have them.

Stop generalizing about people.

*both

The comment was not made without context. Look at the initial post.

Obviously there are people that are not fertile or have other physiological conditions that prevents them from having kids.

And even then there is adoption as an alternative. Idk why this stroke a nerve. My comment was very clearly speaking to the “kids are too expensive” crowd or those that postponed it too long and are now too old.

They are too expensive if you consider the debt they are being saddled with, and this war torn world run by men.

Adoption is out of reach for some unless you consider kids stolen from their mothers by religious institutions.

You should educate yourself more and not just knee jerk the idea of having children putting you in a special club of habes vs have nots.

The only nerve it struck was yours because I was critical of your statement.

Not being mean. Not arguing. I'm presenting a different perspective that you've only contemplated from your own biased perspective.

If I ever adopt it will be an older child that has faced the real world who could benefit from kindness and a little affluence should I ever achieve it.

pretty hard to find women that can get their eyes off their endless doomscrolling to look up and pay attention these days.

the modern culture is definitely trying to end the family there's no doubt about it.

No it is not. You parrot the fear that media feeds you.
