Essentially saying being social is losing its value.
I don’t read it that way. The world reward obedience, but in other to create you have to be ok with being different. These things are not mutually exclusive.

It’s never been easier to be alone, in your own space in the entire human evolution. Need for social dependence is fading away as too much order set in. Too many people who aren’t essentially looking to create are isolating themselves not for some gain but due to other means of dependencies and still be able to live long enough. So the rise of machines like your phones, AirPods, unlimited entertainment.
It’s a losing battle. One can argue that we are destined to go down this path. It’s how we perish. Nature’s way of keeping the balance.
