If I can't rip pullups like spider man, I need to lose fat, and potentially lay off the lifting.
Climbing will tell you even better, but it's obviously not as accessible as a daily bout of pullups.
No amount of muscle is worth dragging ass.

10 full pullups is how I judge.
Should feel energetic and fairly easy.
I do them every day and I can guage where I'm at.
It's not a workout, just a measuring stick.
That's a pretty reasonable attainable goal
