Remember when you had to wear a mask when walking into a restaurant, but could take it off when once seated?

One of the most retarded things I've ever seen people accept. Most memory holed it.

my favourite was the substantial meal requirement in pubs and restaurants here. if you went to a pub you could only have a drink if accompanied by a "substantial meal", so pubs adapted by selling scotch eggs (the smallest item to meet the government definition) with every pint of beer. 🍻🍳

So damn asinine.

The 6-foot social distancing rule was a covert push for the beast's mark, a way to honor its name with coded messages and magical sigils hidden in plain sight.

So much was retarded. Lock downs themselves are medieval unscientific nonsense for how to handle a pandemic. Zinc, hydrochloroquine, ivermectin early onset therapies would have saved countless lives. Yet all were dismissed on made up criteria that made no sense. Instead respirators that were a death sentence if/when case was bad enough. People being told their livelihood was "inessential". This was an exercise in tyranny not an attempt to protect health at all. And look, US just elected the guy who set all this is motion in the US. Most people do the Stockholm Syndrome thing and don't even want to remember how horrendous it all was. So I don't have a lot of faith that many will stand firm when it or something worse is rolled out again.

I like to think there will be more who push back and refuse, but since we can't predict what the next thing will be, it's hard to say how people will react.

Things won't ever really be the same.
