Crowd Cow, ButcherBox are kind of expensive.

Where are people getting their Ribeyes? My local market is great but not in bulk.

Thoughts?

Check out the Beef Initiative.

i buy local but agreed, beef initiative

I have a friend that is a cattle rancher that raises grass fed beef. I’m committed to one per year from him that I split with another friend (~200-250 lbs of beef each). Imho it’s worth creating a relationship with one of those guys if ur interested in all the different cuts of beef. Still not cheap.

I have another buddy that’s a butcher. It’s definitely not cheap but I trust him and get great quality steaks.

All of my stuff is local tho so it wouldn’t be much help to u northern boyz. But it’s worth developing local relationships with these guys (they tend to be good peepl) if u can.

I also hunt so we eat a lot of wild pigs and axis/WT deer.

Not sure how helpful this is…but imo with beef u usually get what u pay for🤷🏽‍♂️

Agreed, this is the way.

Very helpful.
