Built another compost container and flipped the #compost. It stopped heating up at about 121*F. I think it was too dry.

Not much of a composter, what temp are you shooting for? Over 130F? If memory serves that tempwill prevent seed germination. I also have 150 stuck in my head .

Over 130 for 3 days. Shorter for higher temperatures and not above 170.

Thanks. I knew there was an upper limit just wasn't sure what it was.
