It's not so much about what the government and ruling class do that's the issue. I mean, that is the issue, but another way to phrase it is it's about how gullible the people are. Because these two ways of formulating it are the same thing. Criminals will do whatever they can get away with provided that it suits their motives.

Bad people do bad things because they can.

So we need to take our freedoms, not just ask the criminals for them back.
