Open theism attacks the person of God in the interest of preserving the sovereignty of Man in salvation. It's self worship. It subjects the mind (and thus, the being) of God to time. But this is what all false religions do: reject the Creator and worship the creation.
Open Theism is thoroughly pagan. Believe it, if you like, but don't confuse it with Christian Theism.
You are just saying you overlook arbitrary decisions when it is pointing to a clear contradiction to what protestants proclaim as dogma.
If you read "The history of heresies and their refutations", by Saint Alphonse-Marie De Liguori, you will see how the steps taken to protestantism were against the very basic fundaments of a good theological Investigation.
But you would probably rather never want to look at the truth. Truth is a person. The verb (expression of God's will) of God.
