Want to manage your follows and get rid of old accounts that don't post anymore, this is the Nostr client for you.

nostr:nprofile1qqswum4p82uluhz2dr40nvdrflspffntgqghc58w9fs57nx6jkdkuaqpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszythwden5te0dehhxarj9ekxzmny9uq3zamnwvaz7tmwdaehgu3wwa5kuef0nwfqpd what if instead of purging you just moved zombies to nip51 lists? Most of them I don't want to follow, but still want to know when they inevitably come back.

Great idea. Returning users sort of happens often on nostr.

I like this idea in terms of manageability, but honestly if Nostr wants me to find them again and follow them again, they'll put in the work to make themselves known.

It's more for like DMing the right people when needed...

Maybe we can do both. It might be the sort of thing where you can select which users to add to the list, just like you can set them aside for immunity. Will think about it for a future update when I have some time.

Maybe I'm a dick in this regard. If I removed you because you abandoned Nostr, that's on you to rebuild that WoT.

LOL, yeah. POW is the way.

ack.

There was a tool, now defunct, that did this back in the day. It was a good middle ground.

If you’re thinking of Nostr Graveyard, I can assure you it was not good.

I used it a few times. It worked fine.

It rugged my entire follow list and I didn’t know how to restore it at the time.

Crazy. I used it many times successfully, I guess I was lucky. Then switched to nostr:nprofile1qqs0sgghn02adywxrdp4vvmr3zk6ms7vzvz0f8nhr2ru8r08a48aqgspzemhxue69uhks6tnwshxummnw3ezumrpdejz7qgmwaehxw309ahx7um5wfjkccte9euk2emgwfhjucm0d5hszymhwden5te0wp6hyurvv4cxzeewv4ej7rx5u2p's tool for a while, it worked nicely too.

PvsZ works as well. I've always been actively pruning my list. So many people leave Nostr it's a necessity.

It’s funny, I never even knew about Yeghro’s, I just needed to build something that would work to get my count down by close to 1000 npubs and could back up my follows and then I ended up making this.

Great minds .... right?

I very much like your gamification of the whole thing. Well done.

Keep up the great work.

One thing I'd say you might want to check for is if your app is wiping out the hashtags people may be following.

That's something I came across in my learning journey.

Hopefully you don't have that issue.

It did that early on and I fixed it β€” at least I’m pretty sure it’s fixed. Nobody has complained since the first couple of days. πŸ˜…

I thought it was a game, lol

Me too :)

Well it kind of is.
