Hopefully you are correct, but either way, there are better ways to protect yourself. Whether it's real or some "journalist" fantasy it's a useful thought expiriment.

I don't really know anything about them, I just thought the story was interesting because it is somewhat location relavant.

Again, true or not, it makes for a useful thought experiment.
