My Mum had one of these. Bought in the early 1970s and lasted over 30 years with almost daily use. I didn't even break in the end it was just retired for a new model.

Hoovers used to be great.... We had one growing up... It never broke.

Yea, I feel like a lot of products are designed to break now.🤷♂️
