Hi Ken, due to the ticktock ban huge numbers of people joined rednote a Chinese app similar to ticktock, ticktock refugees became a trend, I also joined after watching Candice Owens talk about it on her show, I feel it was a great moment as people bypassed the wall of properganda and gave an FU to American politicians who used the excuse of China stealing American citizens data. Although it is more likely that Isreal wanted it shut down due to people getting too much truth about the massacre taking place in Gaza.
The ban on ticktock has been lifted today but so has the iron curtain between American citizens and Chinese citizens, huge backfire for the American establishment.
I think It's a good time to promote this decentralised platform to people, everywhere. ticktock refugees were hosted by rednote users, Nostr should become home for every one.

It does and that’s what I’ve heard but seems silly to give the Chinese Government access to your phone just to give a middle finger to the US Gov. seems like there are better ways. Plus it’s a stupid hill to die on since the majority of people just want to mindlessly scroll. They don’t care any of the politics. 🤷🏼
