They are so far behind in the race I doubt it will matter. If they put that money in BTC they could buy open AI in a few years
But all that energy to power AI that, in many cases is not used for productive things, those in power don't bat an eyelash about the energy consumption. But then, an uncensorable, decentralized hard money network is a waste of energy 🤦♂️ Talk about being clueless...
Agreed a lot of hypocrisy. A lot of power in AI is to generate the most retarded images too. No one bats an eye. Try to fix money? They scream its boiling the oceans!
