Just deleted my Instagram account.
Well… requested deletion. 🙄
Because of course, you can’t just delete it in the app.
No no you have to Google it, open your web browser, and click through a digital labyrinth of like ten steps. Brilliant design, as always.
Anyway, I did it.
And of course, it’s not really deleted yet. Just in the “maybe she changes her mind” phase.
Instagram knows: letting go is hard…
And then they probably just flag it as deleted so it no longer appears for the public but they'll keep the data regardless to train their AI on or blackmail you in the future if some photo you took years ago is showing something that is prohibited then.
That is true but at least I don’t feed them with my content in the future!

We tested zaps on this note… we made six attempts to⚡zap this note, at hut_hutli@sats.mobi, over a period of 20 minutes. Six of the zaps were successfully paid... Please check for 6 satoshis received. Problem: we found that your lightning address server **did not* properly produce zap receipts, and/or didn't send the zap receipts to the relays specified in the zap. (The zap spec requires that the zap receipts be sent to the relays specified in the zap.) This means a Nostr user who zaps you might not see a number appearing next to the ⚡ icon after zapping.... If you wanted to fix this... you could try a free rizful account -- https://rizful.com ... if u set it up, pls reply here so we can do this ⚡zap test again.
