For a real Id, all you need is your birth certificate if you were born in the United States.

I mean, is it mandatory to fly? We have the documents but do not want to do another state-compelled extra step nonsense. We already have passports.
Passport should be fine because you already provided your birth certificate to the feds. You can also use your passport to go in federal buildings that ask for id. Because now federal buildings wont let you in without a real id.
