Replying to nobody

With all the current controversy surrounding Ledger, am I right in thinking that it is still ok to use them as signing devices in a multisig? Just not use them to keep your BTC?

If the ledger keeps one of three keys and you need 2 for signing in the multisig, for sure.

(And maybe even if the 3 keys are in ledgers it would be okay, but maybe one paper wallet and one Raspberry Pi with trezor code would be more secure. One of each)
