there's no "discovery problem", there's simply not much content in nostr other than a bitcointwitter2 parroting party lines as nostr:npub1njst6azswskk5gp3ns8r6nr8nj0qg65acu8gaa2u9yz7yszjxs9s6k7fqx likes to say. make one post challenging some of their internet cult beliefs and you are publicly scolded, ridiculed, muted and harassed by randos with Bitcoin in their username, AI slop profile pictures and left curve IQ. trending notes are dominated by cringefluencers playing to the peanut gallery and scheduling weak ass meme posts for zaps.
the few people that still stick to this protocol in spite of it are here because they have found a few meaningful connections or they can build the tools and businesses they want to see in the world on top of nostr. but that spark will wear off with time while they see their proposals being bikeshed to oblivion, NIPs changed without any consideration for backwards compatibility and the huge software and user churn rates.
