This is an honest question. How can I buy Bitcoins without giving up my privacy? I do not trust or want to buy from exchanges due to the tagging of my KYC data? Or is it safe to buy there and then put into self custody?
Buy on Strike or Cash App and send over Lightning Network to a Lightning wallet you control (like Phoenix).

Not with Phoenix. It is non-custodial, meaning you control the funds.
