The collective culture was just different from today’s. But it was forced into the communities just like the ideology is today. Schools were used, the youth activated. Mao and Stalin as well. It was National not international, rather forcing the national expansion outwards. My family lived through that and the DDR. They we’re witnessing it in real time. Companies forced to be handed over or at least have a state agent in the company deciding if it was in the state’s interest. And they could not flee without the threat of being murdered.

This is actually the reason I left the Left many many years ago.

Once upon a time I was a piercer. The amount of women that came in seeking help to reestablish their private parts and function was sobering.

In the name of a religious tradition these women were circumcised at a very young age. With a blade that was handed down through the generations.

Many died in the aftermath.

Some fled, found partners, seeked medical assistance.

Bringing them to my shop in a last ditch effort to get back what was taken from them.

I could not help. The damage was too great.

I soon spoke up, went full mental when learning that government was allowing this practice in the country to where women fled to escape.

The Left called me all the labels, blocked me from talking at events, protested art shows about the subject. Called me racist for speaking against this barbarism.

That was when I knew, the Left is a cancer.

That’s when I left the Left. Been politically homeless since.
