Those vacuum pen things are nice (solder wick but with some extra suction for desoldering). Breadboards are great.

Don't forget to keep some airflow going 🫡

But mb not so hot your tip starts to dissolve in the solder. Guess how I know? :-p

I set my tip to 275C, and I avoid lead free solder. I can solder with lead-free, but it requires higher temps, and is def not for beginners.
