Good morning hopeful people 🌞✨

I did some things at the weekend. I made my favorite Italian pasta. β€œSpaghetti aglio e olio” 🍝 and I got myself a rock pear bush and gave it a place to be. 🍐

We collected more sticks for the raised beds and I planted my last 3 tomato varieties and wild strawberries. πŸ…

I spend some time with my very loved cat cookie. I found her alone and very hungry in the forest, about 11 years ago. She’s my absolute bro from the depths of my heart. πŸ₯ΊπŸ˜˜ I really miss her, since I moved out but she’s living her best life on the farm. πŸ’š so every time I see her, it’s cuddle time! πŸ˜πŸ’ž

How close are these three varieties to each other?

If they are close they will effect each other through pollination and then you will have bastard varieties. That's not bad necessarily but if you want to keep them as they are, they shouldn't be close to each other. For example the bees pollinate plants around an area of 800 meters if there are obstacles and 2000 meters in an area without obstacles...

Altogether I have 6-7 different varieties.

I didn’t expect it to be a big problem for the tomatoes? But we have 2 separate green houses. (They’re far apart)

I should be careful about the β€œpeach tomato” since it looks very special. (See photo)

Last year my sweet corn was ruined by the corn fields next to the village.

And some of my paprika tasted HOT like crazy because of our neighbors πŸ˜‚

Thank you so much for keeping me aware about the cross pollution πŸ«‚πŸ’š

My urge to write tomaTOES :D πŸ…πŸ¦Ά

Indeed a special tomato variety. I like it. Very good. So for example if this tomato is affected by other varieties it will acquire different characteristics. Maybe you will like the result, but if you want it as is, then it should grow separately, considering the pollination procedure.

I will take care, would be nice if it won’t cross

Thank you so much β˜ΊοΈπŸ’š

Just keep in mind that the tomatoes of this season will probably look as expected even IF they are cross pollinated. You will see the differences if any, in the next season mainly when you grow the plants of this season's seeds.

Anyway it would be interesting in every case might happen. Enjoy!

I need more green housesπŸ˜‚

There. Fixed. Have a great day!

"Spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino" it's also one of my favorite dishes 😍

When I was in Italy last year, I tried 4-5 different aglio olio in different restaurants πŸ˜‚ some surprisingly had fish added, which was β€œok” :D I almost didn’t realize.

Yes, sometimes we make a variation by melting a few fillets of salted anchovies together with the oil, oil and chilli pepper 🀭🀌

You know your countries kitchen πŸ˜πŸ™πŸΌβœ¨

I'm glad you added the "peperoncino" part 🌢️

Well. I just realize I forgot the spice πŸŒΆοΈπŸ˜‚

Sounds like the best kind of weekend Franny πŸ’œ
